Catherine Berdie Whitman is a multifaceted artist whose work spans composing, singing, writing, and acting.

Catherine Berdie has written, recorded, and released two EPs (The World Card, Devotional), starred in two music videos (Thank You, Let Me Burn), has written for and conducted the Westchester Chamber Soloists Orchestra (Let Me Burn, 2024), and starred in the short film “The Girl and the Beast” (2022) written and directed by Sophie Bardos.

Catherine has a degree in acting from LaGuardia High School, from Sarah Lawrence College in Music Composition, and has attended acting programs at The Atlantic Theater Company, Stella Adler, and The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.

Catherine Berdie’s work is deeply rooted in intentionality, infusing every project with preparation and presence. This philosophy inspired her to found Beginners Mind Productions, a platform to support like-minded artists by fostering spaces and resources for mindful collaborative creation.
